What is the gender pain gap? Pain is highly prevalent in women, especially period pain and migraine, and has significant psychological and social impacts. Despite this, women’s pain is often under-recognised and under-researched. Understand how clinical research focusing on women’s unique pain experiences could improve understanding and lead to better treatments to bridge the gender pain gap.
