Fixed-dose combinations present a way to enhance pain relief through two or more complementary mechanisms of actions interacting in a synergistic way. This webinar discusses how to use a toolbox approach to tailor pain management, and the role of OTC fixed-dose combinations in the transition from paediatric to adult pain care.

Meet the speakers
Prof. William Zempsky (MD, MPH)
Prof. Zempsky is a Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and the Head of the Division of Pain and Palliative Medicine at Connecticut Children’s Medical Centre. He is also the Chair of the Paediatric Special Interest Group of the American Pain Society and the paediatric representative to the Physicians Medical Marijuana Board for the State of Connecticut.
Prof. William Zempsky will discuss self-care approaches to manage paediatric pain.
Prof. Serge Perrot (MD, PhD)
Prof. Serge Perrot is a is a rheumatologist and a pain specialist and currently holds the position of Professor of Clinical Pharmacology at Paris Cité University. He is also the Head of the Pain Clinic of Cochin University Hospital in Paris. He is also a member of the EFIC educational task force and Scientific Programme Committee for the 2025 EFIC congress.
Dr Serge Perrot will speak on how to enhance pain relief with OTC fixed-dose combinations in paediatric and adult patients.
