Chinese Clinical Practice Guidelines for Topical NSAIDS in the Treatment of Sport Injuries by Dr. Xiong Yan
Topical nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are commonly used to treat sports injuries, but standardised evidence-based guidance for their use is lacking. This webinar will review the recommended approach to managing pain in athletes by understanding their needs with a focus on rapid return to function. It will also cover the role of topical NSAIDs in the management of sport injuries in light on the new Chinese guideline recommendations.

Pain Management of Osteoarthritis: Role of NSAIDs and Nutritional Ingredients by Dr. Jiang Jianxin
Currently, NSAIDs and paracetamol are first-line medications for treating osteoarthritis patients' pain. However, there is increased interest in herbal alternatives due to tolerability. This webinar will provide insights on the unmet needs and the role of NSAIDs and nutrition in the management of osteoarthritic pain.

Frontier Research Progress on Musculoskeletal Pain, Cognition, CV and Other Health Outcomes by Prof. Wang Yun
The burden of musculoskeletal pain remains exceedingly high in China and understanding the unmet needs is essential to improve patient outcomes. This webinar will focus on the evolution of clinical trial and real-world evidence generation in China, with focus on frequently seen pain conditions with their high unmet needs.
Lecturer: Professor Wang Yun will provide updates on new research in musculoskeletal pain and its correlation with health outcomes.

Dr Xiong Yan
Dr Xiong Yan is an Associate Professor and Doctor of Sports Medicine and Orthopedics at the Sports Medicine Center, Sichuan University.
He holds several prestigious positions in a range of societies including the Deputy Leader of the Youth Group of the Fifth Youth Committee of the Sports Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association.
Dr Xiong Yan will discuss the new Chinese guideline recommendations for managing pain in the treatment of sports injuries.

Dr Jiang Jiaxing
Dr Jiang Jianxin is an Associate Chief Orthopaedic Physician at Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital, Shanghai.
He is an executive member of the Trauma Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, a member of the Shanghai Branch of the Chinese Medical Association of Microsurgery, and a member of the Geriatrics Society's Professional Committee on Geriatric Nutrition and Food.
Dr. Jiang Jianxin’s will discuss the role of NSAIDs and nutritional ingredients in management of osteoarthritic pain.

Professor Wang Yun
Professor Wang Yun holds several important positions at the Peking University in Beijing including Director of the Pain Medicine Center, Deputy director of the Institute of Neuroscience, Vice President of the Clinical Advanced Research Institute and Deputy Director of the Institute of Neuroscience.
She is also Changjiang Special Professor of Ministry of Education, Chairman of the Chinese Physiological Society and Executive director of the Society of Neuroscience.
Dr. Wang Yun’s talk shall focus on the new research in musculoskeletal pain and its correlation with health outcomes.
